Absolutely the worst emergency room in Chattanooga, my husband was told to go In for possible blood clot and was left sitting for 4 hours. Not one person was the least bit concerned about him. I hope I never have to go for anything serious, you could have a severed appendage and they would leave you sitting out there.
Erlanger east night shift you really need to do better. I shouldn't have to leave a hospital that was supposed to be helping me, and go too another one because Erlanger was making me so uncomfortable. The staff shouldn't be making jokes about the patients, especiallly the ones that have a mental illness, and you definitely should know bedside manner not the bullshit I seen last night at the ER. never again will I go back to Erlanger east emergency room. Making fun of a mentally disabled man who is crying for help. Or the 19 yr old who od "if she wouldn't have hung out with the wrong crowd that wouldn't have happened" or my favorite was the girl who's sugar had skyrocketed...read full review
Baroness Location... Nurse Katherine (in the ER) had an attitude as soon as we arrived to visit the patient (S.K.). We both told her that S.K was in pain, and Katherine snidely responded to us, and took like 30-40 min. to get to her - mind you, I was watching the nurses standing around doing nothing. About an hour into our visit, we discovered S.K. had not been fed since the PREVIOUS day. This was 4:30 pm when S.K. told us. We were told that S.K. had to take a swallow test that morning, which she passed, but the Dr. never followed up with the family or staff to get S.K. food, and the staff didn't care to see about getting her food either.
