About Covenant Transport Training Center
Covenant Transport Training Center offers a structured and supportive environment for aspiring drivers. The facility is new and clean, with modern housing, classrooms, and driving amenities. Orientation is well-organized, providing three meals a day, which is appreciated by newcomers. The staff is friendly and laid-back, making the learning experience enjoyable. However, there are some concerns regarding fueling options, as they are limited to T/A Petro, which some find unsatisfactory. Additionally, there is a need for better training for night and weekend employees to ensure they can handle issues independently. Overall, Covenant Transport is committed to its employees and fosters a positive atmosphere, making it a promising place for those willing to work hard.
Staff is friendly enough, beds are very uncomfortable, washcloth (bring your own) these had hair still in them after they washed them. Food some is good some not so good. Overall can’t complain too much it’s all free after all. More to come on the training side. They get you here is all I can say on travel. You can go to some restaurants and Walmart through there shuttle service which runs all day.
I am currently working as a driver for this company. I actually started as an hours of service coordinator but realized that retirement was not my thing so I returned to the driver seat. This company is one of the best companies I have ever driven for and I am fortunate enough to have had some awesome fleet managers, Jay (team 19) and Matt (team 2). Although the company isn't without it's quirks my co driver and I have been getting some great miles.
It is a nice place and the staff is really friendly
I just felt like the class was to big and then wanted me to get a physical when I had one I just needed it printed off
Seems like a decent company I would recommend if you just got your cdl to come here or if you wanna team it's a good team company
