Dr. Lackey is by fair the best eye doctor I have ever been to. I have keratoconus which makes me a very hard patient. My eyes are just very complex and everything from testing, to contact fitting, to managing pain is just hard. Dr. Lackey was the first doctor to ever give my the option of what steps to take next. She is also the only one in 25 years and countless doctors and specialist to ask how I was mentally and explain my condition can have a huge negative impact on someone's mental health. I am forever grateful to her and her team for providing me with amazing care.

I had such an incredible experience with Hannah at Dr. Lackey’s office that I felt I absolutely had to leave a review.
I originally come from Germany and wear highly specialized, custom-made hard contact lenses. Unfortunately, they had dried out due to a contact lens solution here, and I desperately needed them polished. Shipping them back to Germany would have cost me around $100–$200 and taken a long time.
I called so many optical offices, and while most were happy to sell me new lenses, no one was willing (or able) to help me with my current ones. Then someone recommended Dr. Lackey’s office—and I’m so grateful they did.
I was able to stop by on short notice, and from the moment I walked in, everyone was incredibly kind, understanding, and welcoming. Hannah took the time to help me and polished my lenses—completely free of charge—even though I’m not a patient there.
I was honestly moved by this level of care and generosity. I even offered to pay, and they kindly refused. It’s rare to meet such genuine, honest people who truly care more about helping than selling.
Because of this experience, I will absolutely return for my future glasses and contact lenses. It’s clear that they truly know their craft and prioritize patient care over profit.

I was diagnosed years ago and was scared to see what my options were because drs threw around surgery and vision going away altogether. Dr lackey got me seeing in BOTH eyes with my scleral lenses! Without them I couldn’t see out my left eye at all! Now I can see! I thank God for Dr Lackey!

I can’t thank Dr. Lackey enough for what she has done for me. She went above and beyond to find the cause of my health problems when others couldn’t. She discovered that I had a pseudotumor, which ultimately led to me needing two stents placed in my brain. Because of her thoroughness and dedication, my eyesight was saved and several other medical issues were finally understood and treated properly.
Dr. Lackey truly listened, took my concerns seriously, and didn’t stop until she found answers. She’s compassionate, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about her patients. I’m beyond grateful for her — she not only improved my health but quite literally changed (and saved) my life.

My son is autistic and very non compliant with doctors. Everyone in the office was extremely patient and took their time with him. The entire staff was incredible with him. Everyone was friendly and gracious. Great experience I highly recommend this office

Very pleased with my experience! They use Zeiss lenses for their glasses, which are known for being one of the best out there. I've gotten glasses from one of the major retailers for the last few years, and the experience was never great, nor were the glasses I received. With Amy Lackey Family Eye Care, I felt so much less rushed and like they truly took the time to dial-in my prescription and hear out my individual needs. They also recommend the lenses that are best for your situation rather than relying on YOU to know what you need (I always struggled with this because there are SO many choices, and I never know what would be best for my individual case!). I plan to go here for all of my eye care needs moving forward.

when I first walked in the staff was very friendly which was nice I wasn’t expecting how helpful optometrist would be she helped me with my peripheral vision I kept bumping into stuff I guess I was expecting too much but I twas wrong. She helped me so much with my vision. I can now see when I’m walking and not running over and falling over everything. Thanks so much Dr lackey i appreciate you and your staff

Hands down the best optometrist I have ever seen! My husband, my self and our 3 year old had appointments today and I don’t have enough good things to say about Dr Lackey and her staff! They were so kind, informative, and made our 3 year old feel so comfortable and secure! She found her “perfect” glasses as she said, and is so excited to start this new adventure!
