Based on the reviews, Hometown Heating and Cooling provides excellent communication and quick response times. The business explains everything and troubleshoots over the phone beforehand to come prepared. Work is completed in about an hour or an hour and a half, with one unit fixed within an hour after a Sunday morning call. The service representative is outstanding, extremely knowledgeable, and can diagnose any problem. Customers trust him completely to provide professional services and fair pricing. He is described as awesome, kind, and polite, refusing to let customers buy a new system without checking the old one first. He is honest and does not rip people off, with reasonable prices. He has been a trusted service representative for over 10 years, keeping an older unit running for several years and doing an excellent job installing a new unit. Customers will always call him and would highly recommend, saying he is the best and they will not do business with anyone else.

The AC stopped working on my rental home early Saturday morning. I’m 3 hours away, and I couldn’t get out there. I called 2 companies on Saturday and no one called back. I called Robert at 8:45 Sunday morning. He was at the house by 12:15. He had everything fixed within an hour. My only regret is that I didn’t call him on Saturday. Would highly recommend!
1.) Robert has been an outstanding service rep over the last few years for my daughter's older heat pump. I trust him completely to provide professional services and fair 'pricing. Anytime we have a heat pump problem he is there to serve. You can't do better.
2.) Update, June 2025. I have had business dealings with Robert for over 10 years starting when he worked for another H & C company and later when he started his own business here in Bristol. He is extremely knowledgeable and can diagnose any problem. My daughter had a 25 year old AS he has kept running for the past several years. It finally developed an unrepairable refrigerant leak and he did an excellent job...read full review
