I called, last minute, with an urgent need and they graciously made time to see me. The Doctor and Office Manager were both professional, kind and extremely competent, providing the highest quality of care. I am very grateful to them and highly recommend...!

I'd love to tell you how the service was. Could NOT get anyone to pick up the phone or return a mesage. Try a couple days in a row. No way to set an appointment online. Guess they just are not taking new patients? Or helping existing patients?

I made an appt because I needed prescription sunglasses quickly. When I filled their script from my first exam I was extremely nauseous because they script was so far off. I went back and the next Dr. said it was an incorrect scriptand gave me another script. I bought another pair of glasses. I struggled with that script for months and finally made an appt with my opthomologist. My Dr. confirmed it was still an incorrect script! They cost me over $1,000 purchasing glasses with their bad prescriptions. I don't take it lightly to give such a poor review, but they have no business in this business.

ASK FOR ANY OTHER DOC THAN ALANA MCNEELY.I realize its a small office. (When I say small, its SMALL.) I also realize they have one person doing the front, the assistant, and the insurance. It leads to errors. I was misquoted on my insurance and yes, I know my plan benefits. When I tried to ask for clarification, I was cut off by the assistant and Alana.Used the trial contacts I was given. They didn't work for different reasons so I came in for a follow up. I was told maybe I was not the best candidate for contacts (I've worn them for 12 years) and given another set and told to come back if I had issues.I called again, a few days later, and asked for a second opinion with another on staff doc. Lisa Davis is amazing, gave me some great daily lenses and they work great. There are some good doctors and some bad ones. Its clear the lines here. Ask for Lisa Davis, much friendlier and actually cares. Alana seems to be annoyed, short tempered, and mean.(And before I get a response from the office saying I am not a patient, I am, I don't publicly use my name for Google reviews for privacy and because I plan to be a patient with Lisa.)

Dr. McNeely and her staff are friendly and efficient. Pleasant experience from the first phone call, to walking out the door. Dr. McNeely is detailed and really cares about her patients. I left a message for an appointment and was called back at a timely manner. I understand this is a small office and sometimes one person is running the front desk and pretesting. This takes a lot of talent and multitasking!In reference to another review, I understand in the state of Tennessee, by law, Optometrists are to write a contact lens prescription to expire after a year and glasses can be 1-2 years. I personally would prefer a doctor who cares about my eye health since contact lenses are technically a medical device and can be dangerous if they don’t fit properly. Eyes can’t be replaced.

Dr. McNeely went above and beyond today. She took time explaining and answering my wife's questions, and when Dr. McNeely had a concern, she recommended a specialist and was able to get us in the same day. Highly recommend Dr. McNeely!!

When you visit Costco, you expect a standard. I visited McNeely’s office in May 2022 to get a prescription for glasses and contacts. First, I had to call multiple times before someone finally responded. Second, when I finally came in, the exam was merely 15 minutes or even less, rushed, and not comprehensive at all. On top of that, the prescription didn’t have all the details needed to buy glasses and I had to call again—multiple times and two voicemails—over several days to get a response back to get a certain measurement to finally order glasses. Keep in mind my prescription didn’t even change. Now, when I tried to reorder contacts, I find that she did the prescription for one year only (usually my doctor does 2 year prescriptions). During this whole thing, I never met or saw the doctor—my exam was done by her assistant. I definitely will not be going again because of their lack of communication, professionalism, and care. This is someone who is just charging you and profiting just for the bare minimum. I used to go to Karl Lyons at Costco Brentwood and he was great. Now, this is not the quality of a doctor I expect. Strongly do not recommend.
