I would really think twice about sending your dogs here. Not only did they “accidentally” give one of our dogs another dog’s trazadone prescription and send her home to us dangerously sedated, when we picked up our dogs from boarding they failed to notify us of our dog’s severely infected hot spot which is now a bloody wound that we’re left to care for. The dogs play in water during daycare so you can almost guarantee you’ll pick them up wet and smelly. Not a great experience.

I have never left a review in my life but would like to give people a heads up of what they can expect here. I was told on the first day that the dogs spend the majority of the day outside. Then the second day my dog Nora was shaking and absolutely terrified to go in, so I asked for a tour. This is basically set up like the humane society or animal rescue center with metal kennels with concrete flooring. They give the dog a bed “if you ask for one”, otherwise they just stay in there with a water pail. They go out 1.5 hours in the morning and 1.5 hours in the evening, and are in the cage the rest of the day. The sound in there is deafening with all the dogs being stuck inside. If your dog is overstimulated and stressed out (as anyone would be sitting in such a stressful space), this is not the right fit. No personalized care and it felt like they treat the dogs like a number. Perhaps this is right for some dogs but dogs have emotions and get anxiety just like every other living being and I will never set foot in here again.

★☆☆☆☆ Pet Village (Brentwood) — Deeply Disappointing Boarding Experience

We recently moved here from Alabama, where our boarding facility consistently returned our dogs in the same clean, healthy condition we dropped them off. Unfortunately, that was not our experience with Pet Village in Brentwood.

At pickup, both dogs smelled strongly of urine and were soaking wet—so much so that our car’s front seat was wet, and once home they left a trail of water dripping from their fur. This is unacceptable and suggests poor sanitation and basic care.

We had also pre-measured and packed the exact amount of food for the entire stay. Despite this, Pet Village notified us—with three days still left—that our dogs were already out of food. That indicates our feeding instructions were not followed. When I asked the owner to review a feeding log or schedule, she could not provide any details or documentation.

As a business owner, I rarely leave one-star reviews. But based on the condition of our dogs at pickup and the lack of adherence to written instructions, I cannot recommend Pet Village. At a minimum, they need to improve sanitation, ensure pets are clean and dry before release, strictly follow feeding instructions, and maintain transparent written logs. Our pets deserve better care than what we experienced here.

Dr. Tsoumalis is the best, we trust her and all the great vet techs with our pups!

Great place! Owner is hands-on and always around. Our dog loves going there! We have a primary vet that we have used for years, but it is so convenient to have some things taken care of while they are boarded.

I highly recommend Dr. Tsoumalis who I've seen multiple times. She's kind, patient, knowledgeable and provides outstanding care for my long-haired dachshund. The technical team is also outstanding. I've used the hospital for both preventive care and medical care and been very happy.

True care givers. I inherited an elderly cat when my mother passed. He is a mean old guy that liked no one but my mother. We had to go out of town so we brought him here. They were so nice and the cat was actually nicer after we got him back. He even gave me a head bump. I highly suggest pet village to board your little family member.

They take good care of my dog during boarding and he loves going to daycare! I would recommend to friends and family.

Great staff and nice, clean facilities. Perfect place for a boxer to play.
