We tried to pay for months and they didn’t send us an invoice. Then they finally communicated with us, and we sent a check. A month after I asked if they have received it, they emailed back saying we don’t have record that it has been paid. After all of that, they send another email saying “I just found the check pushed underneath some papers”

I highly recommend Complete Home Inspections. He was recommended to me and I was not disappointed. Michael did a very professional and thorough job for the first and subsequent re-inspections. Every repair that needed to be made, no matter how small, was explained in great detail and was complete with pictures and/or videos when needed. I would use his services again in a heartbeat!

Beyond disappointed! Livid or shocked would be a more accurate description and it's physically impossible to give zero stars. Everything went fine with the inspection, the report seemed very thorough and helpful but after moving in we found it was incomplete and inaccurate.
We purchased an older home and after beginning the move we found out that nearly all the outlets in the back part of the house did not function; that wasn't on the report. The cabinet under the sink in the kitchen was majorly warped due to water damage; not noted on the report. There were GFI outlets in the house but none of them were actually wired to a ground fault; there was mention of this being the case with ONE outlet. To top it all off, the ENTIRE attic was not insulated, again, never mentioned! I seriously don't know what we paid for. If we would've known half of this stuff we would've had the seller fix it or possibly not even purchased the house. Now, we're stuck with the cost of all the repairs. Not to mention, that the longer we live in the house the more stuff we're finding is wrong with it (we've been in for 2 weeks now).
The only upside is that I was able to get with Michael and he agreed to split the bill for the electrician with me but I had to sign a hold harmless agreement. So, basically if my house burns down because of his negligence then I have no legal recourse!! It seems like he may have done this before. This is the perfect example of why you need to research and vet your potential home inspector (this home inspector was chosen by our realtor which is a totally different Google review). Please let my experience be a lesson to you; don't use this home inspector!
