I've used Blair both times my door decided to stage a revolt. The first occasion, they replaced a spring on the torsion bar(hope that's correct) and the second time they done the troubleshooting over the phone with me. I've also passed their info to relatives who ended up using them as well. I can't say enough positive things about them except there is a reason I have their sticker on my door.

John Blair was very knowledgeable and friendly. He responded quickly to my text, and was able to be at my house within an hour after I texted him. Work was completed (installed new spring) within 30 minutes after he arrived. He gave me some good tips about garage door openers and his pricing was very competitive. I'll be calling him again for any future garage door repairs.

We had Blair Garage Door replace our very old garage door system, and John did a fantastic job! He was not only extremely knowledgeable but also incredibly kind throughout the entire process. I contacted Blair Garage Door for garage door repair work because from what I could gather on the web, it is one of the few in the business that is actually run by the person who will come do the work--John Blair. He responded promptly to texts (to which I attached photos) and assessed the situation. He was at the house the next day, fixed it expertly for a reasonable price, and was professional and friendly. Highly recommend using Blair Garage Door.

A reliable owner operated garage door repair and service compay. Owner is honest and charges a fair price as opposed to the bigger companies which put their technicans on a commission basis so their job is to inflate the price as much as possible. While these larger companies generally do a satisfactory job in repairs, the customer is often told they need additional, often unnecessary, repairs and/or upgrades to drive up the service cost. Blair doesn't do this; instead, you will be quoted a price (often over the phone) and that is the cost if you know what repairs are needed.

We are in the middle of a major home remodeling and one of my garage doors quit working. The problem turned out to be a wiring issue that I was eventually able to fix but in the meantime the workers were operating the door manually for a couple of weeks. This was quite a beating for the door and shortly after I got the opener working the door would not stay shut. I called a couple of the local companies and they couldn't come for days or even weeks. When I called Mr. Blair he promised to be there in a couple of hours. He arrived promptly at the promised time and quickly confirmed that the problem was the damaged threshold causing the force sensor to think an object was under the door. He replaced the threshold, adjusted and tightened the sensors, realigned both doors and lubed everything. All at a very reasonable price. I definitely recommend his services if you're having problems or need new doors or openers.
