“When we first started boarding our youngest Shepherd, she had a difficult time adjusting. The team took the time to work with her and made sure she felt comfortable, which meant a lot to us. A few months later, when we dropped our dogs off again, our oldest Shepherd was genuinely excited to see one of the staff members. That's when we knew this had become her home away from home.
During this most recent visit, I was struggling to get my youngest dog's collar on when another customer arrived with their dog. Knowing that she can be reactive, a staff member immediately asked the other customer if they wouldn't mind giving us a moment before coming in. They understood the situation without us having to explain it, and thankfully the other customer was incredibly kind and patient.
Moments like that are what set this place apart. It showed me that this isn't just another job to them—they truly know our dogs, pay attention to their personalities, and genuinely care about their safety and comfort.
I also appreciate how easy their online booking system is. It allows you to provide detailed instructions and information about your dogs so the staff can get to know them even better.
We'll continue bringing our girls here and highly recommend Ruff Country to anyone looking for a boarding facility that treats your dogs like family.”
