Most of the employees do not speak English. The one girl was unfamiliar with the differences between a blow dryer and a curling iron.. Argued with me saying that they were the same thing because she couldn't find the curling iron in the store.

Today I showed up all tired and frustrated about my laptop's mystery refusal to- well, two guys at Geek Squad counter kept on chatting together, but the third was super helpful. I'll call him Antonio, kind and smooth like Banderas: asked for permission, did some magic talking with my laptop, enlisted a beautiful colleague and lady nerd provided a hot spot with her cell and, lo and behold, my laptop was just purring for them within a few minutes! Experience makes the difference. Made my day. Week, more like. Very happy!

I just had the best experience ever while shopping at Best Buy for computers and attachments. Jory answered every question I asked, and showed me a few new accessories. I will go back for my next purchase. There were three of us in the store and he listened to our needs and spoke equally to each us. We ranged in age from 15 to 75. This is a family store. We left feeling happy and smarter.I had researched this purchase and in some stores I wasn't even approached by salespeople. Kudos to Jory and Best Buy on Eighth Street in Saskatoon. We met Richard near the end of our transaction and he confirmed that we had made the right decisions. It was a fabulous visit.
