Large cardio area and very clean facilities. It gets crowded during the evening, but it’s still manageable. While it’s a solid spot, there could be more free weights and specific machines to handle the peak hour rush. Overall, a decent place for a consistent workout. It's not 24/7 and in my personal opinion the eastern location is just better.

Shoutout to shiv who was at the front desk in the evening today. I I stood there waiting patiently, another member even suggested he could help me first — and the response was, “That’s not important.” Good to know assisting members isn’t considered important. That definitely builds confidence in how this place is run. Impressive attitude for someone representing the gym.

I’m usually a weekday guy and I decides to try coming to the gym last night at 5:15. Gym was closed despite hours saying they’re open Saturdays until 8. Don’t know if that’s an issue with staff or a schedule issue but either way embarrassing from whoever is managing this place

Good place to workout, but definitely needs better ventilation specially in the locker room. Certain times of the day like 8 pm-10 pm it can get crowded and its usually folks that refuse to use deodorant. It can get totally rank. Its unmistakable.

Ok gym. Definitely could be cleaner. I have seen the same hair and dirt between machines for a few months now.
Gets extremely busy at peak hours. Wouldn't suggest going then. It is very very bad compared to other gyms.
As for the staff most are nice and helpful except the one bald white dude that wears a string shirt that says ''practice safe sets'' when he works out and a black baseball hat on the tip of his head. Never smiling, always seems annoyed when he gets asked a question, always on his phone and looking at members like they're bothering him. I understand that this might not be his career but people like that should not be working with the public.

I recently moved to south Regina and thought it was a good idea to move to a south gym, so I left Evo East and sadly Evo South is closed and this gym was my only option. After about 2 months of working out in the worst gym ive ever been to I decided to cancel my membership and go back to Evo East. The location of this gym is awful, sketchy people lurking outside consistently, the one time I went to go pick up some things from superstore on my way out from the gym and a random crazy looking weirdo jumped at me. This gym is also dirty and smells my god, I had to move from one of the stairclimbers to another one because someone was just reaking of the perfume BO combo. This gym is also cramped, I constantly had to grab free weights and take them over to the studio to be able to lift without bumping into people, there are also little to no benches so good luck getting anything done during peak hours, one time I had to just leave the gym because there was no room and the studio was in use so it was wither hop on one of the 30 empty treadmills or go home. Lack of equipment is something major too and that comes at the price of a small space although half the gym is treadmills so that doesnt help either. Oh and another thing, the mats and benches in there are garbage its like laying on a piece of plank and the mats are so thin they dont provide any comfort so you might as well stretch on the hard floor. Overall this was a terrible experience, so bad that it made me go back to my old gym but am happy to because Evo East kicks ass. The only saving grace of this place is that there is no commitment when signing up THANK GOD. I would avoid this place like the plague, if it gets ANY competition whatsoever its lights out for them, seriously.

The worse experience in this gym. Staff is rude, they broke your lock down and you are not aware about that…

I actually really like this gym. Unfortunately, it’s not actually 24h. Weekends it’s 7am-8pm, so if you work over the weekend you don’t get to have a workout. And even Monday and Friday are missing hours. On top of that they occasionally fail to open on time. So you may be waiting at the doors in the cold for a good while. Pretty disappointed when I showed up seeing my open for 24 hours a day gym (which was the only reason I got this membership over other locations) and couldn’t get in because they weren’t open. I understand staffing is difficult, but don’t have a massive 24h sign up, it if you can’t hold your doors open for 24h.
