Shawn & Maggie took us in and stayed after hours for an emergency visit following our dogs injury while in the field. Our yellow Labrador Aspen was needing some stitches and cleaning regarding her cuts from the barbed wire fences while hunting. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to take care of our Miss Aspen and she is already doing much better! Certainly the best vet in SD and well worth the travel if you are in the area.

I am in awe of Dr. Shawn, Maggie, Cara, and Malorie. They are always so caring, empathetic, and honest about treatment options and what they need. Dr. Carolyn who is helping Dr. Shawn did a house call to put down one of our babes. They let me hold her and explained everything they were doing. I can’t thank them enough for the work they do and keeping all our pets happy and healthy.

Our 7 year old female boxer needed oral surgery to remove hyperplasia of her gums. Our vet in Yankton could not preform the surgery, so she recommended Neighborhood Veterinary Care to us. The staff at Neighborhood Veterinary Care were kind and helpful, and Dr. Bietz was incredibly thorough in explaining how the surgery went. They took great care of our girl from beginning to end, and I highly recommend this veterinary clinic to anyone.
