I had a great experience at Dr. Renae’s office. She is thorough and knowledgeable.I have lots of family history of eye disease and she took her time answering all my questions without making me feel rushed. You can tell she genuinely cares about her patients and their eye health. Also, all of the clinic staff were welcoming, professional and efficient. If you are looking are looking for an eye dr that is skilled and compassionate, I highly recommend Dr. Renae!

I recently bought two pair of glasses at Family Optical and am extremely pleased. From the moment I walked in the staff was friendly and helpful. When having my glasses fitted, Dr. H was very easy to talk to and explained everything he was doing. My glasses fit great!

My husband and I are new to SD. We moved to Spearfish about a year and a half ago and desperately needed to see an eye Dr. We decided to try Family Optical based on the reviews. We have never been more happy with an optometrist than we were with them. The Dr. was not only thorough but super nice and welcoming. The ladies up front were fun, welcoming, and super helpful. We received our glasses in less than the 10 days we were told and, most importantly, they are honestly the best prescriptions we've ever had. This is definitely our optometrist for life.
