I was getting to the end of my wits with a very stubborn corgi puppy that refused to listen to any command that wasn't immediately beneficial to him. Missy stepped in, helped evaluate what worked with him, what he didn't like, and more importantly teaches me proper educational methods and techniques that turned our relationship around. Beyond the training courses, she was always a text or email away to show behaviors and ask for help, or to bounce other ideas off of for training plans. Most of that was done free of charge, solely done to help train me to train a better dog. It's very clear how much Missy cares about not only your success, but ultimately the betterment of your furry friends. She even provided additional feedback for introducing our newest puppy, what was and was not appropriate play, and help them bond to their inseperable best friends they are today. I can't fully provide enough words for how much Missy helped and I will be forever grateful for everything. I just need her to help train cats and I'll be back with 2 more friends for her to help with!
Missy has been great in helping us build confidence in helping our rescue with his anxiety and ability to self-soothe. Our dog is definitely selectively reactive and we will always have to work on it with him but Missy has helped us feel like we can handle it and given us the tools to help him. Our dog also loves Missy which is always a bonus! 100% recommend her to anyone who is looking for someone knowledgeable, understanding, and personable.
We have been to other trainers before we discovered Missy. The difference is phenomenal. Missy isn’t only knowledgeable at training, she is also an expert at a dogs behavior. She was able to understand our dogs behavior and explain why my dog wasn’t listening which made it easier for us to understand how to teach her differently so she caught on. What we thought was a stubborn pup was just some miscommunication on our part. Because of Missy, all of our friends are jealous of how well trained our pup is 🥰❤️
