I had a great meeting this morning with my good friend and CPA Nina Govic Braun at Ketel Thorstenson about our business taxes. We meet a few times through the year professionally to make sure we’re on track and don’t have any surprises. I made the comment that I’ve heard of some folks who are owing this year when they haven’t before. She shared that the new tax code is incredibly complicated and she’s spent a ton of time on continuing education learning about it; and it takes a conscious effort to understand it.
