This is easily the best rock shop I've ever visited. The selection of large pieces in the yard outside is amazing, and inside is such a huge variety of more elegant pieces. I just kept adding more and more to my basket, reasoning that at the end I would sort out whatever I didn't -really- want. I bought all of it. The prices are so low you can go absolutely crazy. My brother guessed my total would be $142 (which still seemed reasonable compared to other shops) and it was only $84. We ended up going from here to the rock store up the road (Ken's) and the selection is no where near as good and the guy working there seemed annoyed to have to do his job and just dumped...read full review
Absolutely amazing. Staff was attentive, informative and funny - we made this last minute stop out of town and wish we would've made it here days before, we spent so much time there. We were actually even recommended to go here vs other shops for the competitive pricing, but the whole experience really made it worth it.
Best little rock shop in the Hills! My Dad brought us down here on our road trip and we had such fun looking at all the cool rocks! We were greeted promptly and they were super friendly. When I lamented about not being able to find a soapstone carved into a hippopotamus in years of looking (for a family joke/tradition), he went back in to the back and brought out SIX for me to choose from! I can't wait to stop in again on our next trip!
