I’ll be honest, we’re from Sioux Falls and our normal vet clinic is one of the bigger names in town, but in an emergency situation they just didn’t meet our expectations. We called around with the information we knew about the situation and stumbled upon Horizon Pet Care. They were able to squeeze my dog in for his surgery same day. From the moment we walked in with O’Malley we were treated with such compassion, honesty and care during an extremely stressful time. O’Malley’s surgery went smoothly, communication throughout his stay at the clinic was thorough, and follow-up care was exceptional. It was very obvious everyone cared about his comfort and recovery. I am beyond grateful for their skill, kindness and dedication to care. We will definitely be back for all routine visits and needs. I trust them more than any other vet we’ve been to, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a vet in the great Sioux area and surrounding!“

The nurses were very efficient, getting us into a room quickly and making sure we were both comfortable. The doctor was fantastic she not only handled the vaccination smoothly but also took the time to review Jay’s old vet records and offer personalized advice based on his breed and age. My only hesitation is that the pricing felt a bit high, but the quality of care almost makes up for it.“

When I picked them up, I was amazed to hear Stephanie was able to file his nails!! Dogs both got fully groomed—ears, nails, glands, (special probiotic shampoo for my boy with allergies). Super fair pricing. She went above and beyond for both dogs—and they weren’t traumatized! ? I’ll be a return customer!“
