“Preface: living on Fort Jackson. First summer here.
They made a mistake but corrected it quickly and professionally. I planted Alyssum(carpet of snow) flowers as seen in picture, at the edge of my mulch bed. The workers mistook them for weeds and cut them. It was an understandable mistake, especially if you are not familiar with the plant and my flowers did not grow a full carpet coverage. They were Very patchy growth and there were a fair amount of actual weeds among the flowers. Anthony came by and looked at the situation then went and immediately bought 6 packets of seeds to replace the damage. He also took photos of the Alyssum flowers I had growing in another location to show other workers what to avoid cutting/spraying in future lawn maintenance. Finally, he also treated a few major ant hills he noticed while surveying across the yard and in my mulch beds. While frustrated my plants were cut I appreciate how quickly they corrected the situation, especially taking photos to educate about unfamiliar plants and inform future work. Hopefully my next round of flowers will be a true carpet of snow with no room for weed confusion. In the meantime, thank you Anthony for your prompt professional care of the situation.“
