Laurie was so helpful on our pregnancy and birth journeys. For my first birth I was really anxious about the process, the unknowns, and being able to manage a potential natural birth process along with a hospital staff. Laurie helped me with confidence to develop a birth plan and ensure we were on the same page so that if I was not in the frame of mind to speak up we could work from the plan. Laurie gave me tremendous peace and confidence in approaching birth as a first time mom. She was fully attentive and engaged with me in every interaction, in answering my many questions, offering her expertise which is backed by delivering all her children naturally and supporting over 120 births (she can tell you the exact amount!), providing encouragement and education in my personal concerns about labor and treatment options, and all throughout labor and delivery.
