Dr Schumman and his team are nothing short of extraordinary. When my older dog started suddenly showing signs of diabetes, they were able fit me right in the next day, even though I know their schedule is very tight. They were so compassionate and caring towards my animal and my family when breaking it to us that she indeed has t1 diabetes which is a serious, lifelong condition. They spent over 2 hours sitting with us and patiently explaining the ins and out and management of her condition and they even let me practice giving my dog fake insulin injections so we were comfortable with the routine. We've been taking our Boxers to Oakbrook Veterinary Clinic for almost 10 years now. The practice continues to grow but maintains a caring professional staff and overall environment. The new Veterinarians recently brought in are an added bonus and a true asset. A+++ Recommend!
From her first visit to her last, Oakbrook took care of my girl for the last 11 years. I never had a bad experience and they were always so patient with Nala even when she would growl and try to bite them. If you’re searching for a new vet, I highly recommend!
