I had my annual mammogram at Summerville Breast Center and had a great experience. Tiffany, my tech, was friendly, professional, and made me feel very comfortable during what can be an awkward exam. I was feeling a little warm and she kindly brought me water and turned on a fan, which I really appreciated. Small gestures like that go a long way—thank you, Tiffany!
Edit: (2025) Second yearly appt did not go as well, unfortunately. I had a 10:15 appt, got there at 10 as they request and sat on a bench in the warm cubicle changing room until 10:45 in a shirt length robe that didn't close well. Tech and woman who led me to the changing room were professional. Drinks were available. Results were sent almost immediately. Desk staff seemed stressed, possibly because they had a problem with their equipment and men were trying to fix it in their small space. It was kind of a stressful experience as a patient this time.
