My teen son and I have been training together at SMA for about a year now and Love it here! I've trained in various martial arts schools in the upstate over the past 30 years, both good and bad ones... SMA is definitely Top Tier! Great for kids, teens and Adults! Come experience Black Belt Excellence!
Wasn't quite for me, but I remember loving Kickin' Kids when I was younger and for a while, I enjoyed the formal classes when I started summer of 2024, but a few months later, I got extremely stressed out every class. However, that is a personal problem of mine and not something wrong with the program. Overall, I love this establishment even though as of writing this, I am quitting the classes.
I signed my son up in December and was really impressed with how well they work one on one with students. It’s great disciple and my son enjoys it so much that his grades have even improved drastically as part of a deal I made with him to stay in martial arts. I even enrolled myself, as I preferred this to a gym membership. Core strengthening is something I really need and I can already feel the impact by going here. Very impressed by the staff overall. Especially how they hold the kids accountable both there and teach them to respect their homes as well. Highly recommend this place.
