I went in to address a specific area that was tight and had to ask the gentleman 3 times to please focus on it as well as asking for more pressure antoher 2 times to work out a knot in the muscle. It felt like more of pat down rather than a massage. Hardly any muscle work at all and for the first time ever I almost just asked him to stop. My first and last visit to Massage Envy!

I have never had anything but a good massage at this location. I have a very physical job and need regular, deep tissue massage just to be able to function normally without pain. I have never been disappointed with the therapists at this location. I've seen Dwyane, James and Ben in the past and they have always been excellent. However, I recently started seeing a new therapist who has the exact technique style that works with my body perfectly. Every therapist has different techniques and every client's muscles with respond differently to these. I need a more targeted, trigger point type of massage rather than broad the strokes that work great on others. While the past therapists ice has were fabulous and i would recommend them to anyone and happily use them if I can't get my first choice it is a style difference not a quality one that will keep me where i am now.
Geoff was able to get muscles to release that had been locked tight for years, areas that other massages made much better but the underlying tightness was still there at some level. Don't get me wrong, I always felt great after the other services, but the patterns of tightness were always so bad that the effects only lasted a week or so before things tightened back up. Geoff was able to get me lasting, measurable relief. My second visit with him, I was in rougher shape that I was when I booked due to a very busy weekend volunteering at a youth activity that had me working on my feet for over 15 hours at a time. I had only booked a 60 minute massage but as i was his last appointment of the day, he offered to stay past his scheduled shift and switch to a 90 minute service. This wasn't about an upsell, it was about my needs and he offered before I could ask. He was able to take the time needed on some of my worst, lifelong problem areas (areas in my neck that have been painful for years that I was going would have the same long lasting results as the shoulders that l had from the last visit) and still address the muscle fatigue in my legs and feet. My neck is miles better than it has been in over a decade now. Thank you, Geoff.
While I may not agree with the advertising policies of the company (offering first visits that you think are one price but not being clear that you only get that price if you sign up for a membership that you are contractually obligated to keep for a year and the price without membership is substantially higher... this is the only reason this is not a 5 star review and the staff here deserves 5 stars) I have never been anything other than happy with the service I've received at this location. The advertising policies are not the choice of the people actually working there. The level of customer service I've received far outweighs any issues I have with that policy. The front desk staff has always been kind, courteous and eager to help in any way they can, always going above and beyond to make me feel taken care of. I highly recommend this location.

Everyone at the front desk has amazing customer service! I have been goi onto Connie for years. She is knowledgeable, kind, gentle but at the same time, awesome at working out stress points. I always leave feeling so much better than I arrive.
