I decided to take my soon to be 6 year old to have her one and only experience of a silk press on her hair as she had been asking to have her hair straightened.. I completely regret this decision.. it damaged my daughters beautiful natural curl pattern.. as her mom I beat myself up over the decision to take her.. I’ve had a silk press on my hair many times and have never had a problem with my hair going back to its original curl pattern. If I could post pictures I would. I am heart broken at the state of my daughters hair.

The stylist was rude about not being able to cut my 2 year olds hair. I understand she was busy but she didn't have to be rude about it she didn't say sorry. We asked if she could cut our daughters hair and all she said was "not today, I'm the only one here, I close at 4 and this is going to take me until 4 to do." No sincerity just rude even an I'm sorry would've been okay.
