Lee's nursery had a special on 12 ft palm trees. I called and they came by to give me an estimate with additional possibilities. We agreed on some of the suggestions. I stopped by the nursery and picked the trees. They came by within a few days. Installed each tree, one at a time, perfectly. They even did a couple extra things I asked for. Cleaned up the mess and had my backyard looking just like it did when they arrived. They were polite and courteous. I would highly recommend them for any landscaping needs.
You have choices. You can shop at the big box stores and face a limited selection. You can cross your fingers, shop online, and hope what is delivered, via FedEx or UPS, is what you expected. Or you can visit a nursery, have a much larger selection of trees and shrubs, and actually see what you're buying.
I've purchased twenty-five 4-foot junipers and seven 5-foot junipers online. The twenty-five are doing well, but the seven 5-foot junipers that were delivered were terrible...roots growing out of the bottom of the pots, weak trunks, and very thin growth....they looked like leftovers from the previous season. Very pleased with the plants we purchased from them. Staff is great and very knowledgeable. We purchased a pindo palm, a windmill palm, and an European Fan Palm.
