Always clean

Very very creepy behavior noticed including a Asian lady with 2 huge pink bows on the back of her pants... that seemed like she was watching/recording in the locker room. I first assumed that she was like floating . However, as soon as I exit the locker room leaving the facility there was a young Asian guy with a black sports tee shirt on looking directly in my face litteraly staring non stop...when i say non stop he was in my face and then the slightly older Asian guy with a royal blue collar shirt on standing next to the young guy did the same thing and then sudden turn away.
This was my first visit to the very filthy location and so this is very concerning.

Red headed person at the desk is very unfriendly.

Great gym!! I love going every morning at 5am. Problem is, every once in an awhile an employee won’t show up at 5am to open the gym up. That’s unacceptable!!!

It was better than most during Covid. But has since gone through managers, staff and cleaning, maintenance crew. It appears they want to operate on a shoestring to maximize profit at the members' expense.
Cleanliness has been a consistent issue. Lack of group classes. They were supposed to add Pilates, never have but LA website advertise. Repairs of free standing weights are lacking, locker rooms need attention.
As far,as contracts are concerned they will try to avoid canceling to make their numbers look good. Even then they will try to set up a scenario where they will still charge you account after the fact.
For this reason the Federal Trade Commission has a pending lawsuit against them.
Act accordingly. Knowledge and resistance is power. Truthfully if a better club or two comes into the area, all of the current ones would have a struggle as they all do not respect the consumer until they don't have your business. Strength in numbers to make them step up their game as they are all full of themselves.

Really thankful to Emily for getting the AC working on the racket ball courts .

Very good experience, excellent workout

The trainers and staff are excellent. Josh, Austin and Dylan, in particular have been very helpful. I am in a wheelchair, but I am able to use the pool and participate in the group fitness sessions. Josh and Austin have helped me modify many of the group exercises to accommodate my wheelchair. The new “head janitor” is such a friendly face in the mornings. She does such a good job keeping the place clean in the mornings. Emily is also a smiling presence when I arrive. Overall, the staff is attentive, welcoming, and available for questions, etc. Yes, the physical maintenance is a bit disappointing, but this great staff makes up for that for me, anyway. I look forward to my workouts there.,

Be aware, the girl at the front desk with highlights hair & glasses always has such a bad, annoying attitude. She makes every process difficult even when you’re already doing things by the book. I've witnessed her only greet guests who aren’t of color. I’ve personally seen a lot of her interactions & she’s overall a bad taste in your mouth. She makes the gym seem hostile. I’ve spoken to a couple of other guests & gotten their opinion on her & they all have perceived the same thoughts. They all said they notice her negative energy when witnessing her interact with guests they are found of & frequently interact with there. She wants to creat a negative space for individuals & she is attempting to use this little position to create a hostile space for individuals. She doesn’t understand her position & attempts to operate as if she is the owner. The gym is not as dirty how some of the reviews state it’s just the employees in the front don’t do their part when it comes to maintaining the gym. I always see the cleaning crew doing their job but the employees upfront don’t do their part with upkeep.

We use the pool here for British Swim School and they’re awesome!
