    Normally great experience but today was awful. Dropped on 3 small parakeets on Oct 21-25 after a tech said it would be 36 dollars a day. When we went to pick them up it was 36 per bird per day for a total of 346.50 for 3 parakeets who are not handled and the only thing you do is put food in bowls and wipe off the droppings. The food bowls were empty and the cage had not been cleaned in 2-3 days. That is unacceptable knowing birds can't drink out of water with their droppings or eat with that. The only thing from the front desk was I understand and I can have the office manager to call you. I guarantee if they were dogs or cats we would not have gotten this treatment or maybe it was because of me they got this treatment. I'm always respectful of people because I work in the customer service field so if you look at my reviews I give a range based on experience. But this place I don't care about the other reviews when my pets were treated like they didn't exist and we could have just left them home by themselves with this type of treatment. Maybe it's good for dogs and cats but I refuse to subject my birds to this place again

    I made an appointment online on Monday for today. A few hours later I got a text saying I needed to call to discuss the time and give a $25 deposit. I called around 5:30 (before they closed) and spoke with a lady saying I just needed to complete the new patent form and said I didn't need to worry about the deposit because "we aren't doing that right now". She said we needed to be there at 4:30 instead of 4:40. I told her I would get the form completed. (The form by the way was mostly the same stuff I had to fill out when I made the appointment). I was told Monday when I spoke with the lady that our appointment was set and I was given zero reason to think at this point that our appointment would be canceled. I got the form completed this morning and received a call a few hours later saying "because we didn't get a call from you Monday, there is no appointment for you". I explained that I had in fact called on Monday and told them what I was told by this other lady. Apparently there is no record of that so I don't have an appointment and the lady I spoke with today completely blamed me and didn't seem to care that their office screwed up somewhere. One of my dogs needs yearly shots before we go out of town next week and now I need to hope someone can get us in before the weekend. Horrible customer service. I will find somewhere that can admit they were wrong if they make a mistake and make it right instead of blaming the customer and leaving them with nothing.

    We have boarded and had our dog treated here for many years. However, we will no longer have our dog boarded, treated, or groomed here anymore. A grooming appointment had started taking up to 7 hours. That is way too long, especially when he can be taken somewhere else and get the same or better quality service, quicker time, and cheaper. At his last boarding, when I went to pick him up, I was told he was getting an exam. The exam was stopped when I told the staff he just had one a couple of months ago. I was told that he still needed the canine flu vaccine. I also questioned that since he was being PICKED up from boarding. I was told by a vet that it wasn't done at drop off because they were short staffed due to the holidays! I was still required to pay for this vaccine. I have asked for a refund, but obviously got no where. We would have liked to continue taking him there since he is comfortable with the staff. However, we have the impression that money is the main focus now.
