Had my Rinnai outside tankless water heater serviced and inspected by James today. I had no hot water but now I do. Unit really needed cleaning. The main issue apparently was my regulator which he replaced.
He took time to explain every step and procedure while he was servicing.

We had started having issues with our hot water heater. I called David at HotCo, he asked for me to check a couple of things and very quickly he determined a plan of action. James arrived later that day and determined the most likely cause to be a faulty gas valve. Taking into consideration it's age, I decided to go ahead and replace the whole thing instead of throwing a new part at the old one. James had the correct hot water heater on his truck and started the replacement immediately. He made the reqired code related upgrades and was done in a couple of hours including cleanup, then went over everything we needed to know about the new heater.
