“I started going to Mr. Rodney when I got my driver's license. I was living in Bamberg at the time. He was recommended to me by one of my high school teachers who knew him. That was 52 years ago, and I am still driving there, now from Barnwell! When Mr. Rodney had some health issues and was not open, I tried someone else, but they couldn't tame my hair like he did. So I went for several months without getting a cut, and was so glad when he was able to return. He is just the best at what he does!! I consider him a good friend.“

“Great establishment, you get more than what you paid for being a great cut, comfortable and clean environment, maybe even a barber for life. They aren’t territorial over clients, they don’t make you feel any type of way for not going to them. If you want your cut in silence or a good conversation that’s what you’ll get. I’ve been coming here for years and still take a drive from Columbia from time to time to get clean. Much love and respect for them doing their thing in the shop. Just wish it was free ?“
