Ben at Southern Wrench, and his coworker, are mechanics in the truest sense of the word. While they use computer diagnostics, when something doesn't show up but there is definitely an issue, they use their mechanical knowledge to diagnose and fix the issue. They are smart, clever, and oh-so reasonably priced. Southern Wrench is my go-to for mechanical issues. They give trusted advice on other issues, like tire wear, even if they are not the supplier of the service. Hands down, best mechanic I've ever had. Recommended whole heartedly.

Ben and the boys at Southern Wrench are some of the best in the biz. Not only did they diagnose the issues with my ‘94 YJ Jeep Wrangler but they did so with incredible professionalism and at an exceptionally fair price.

My first experience was with a clutch. I was told from two other shops it would be $1600 -$1800

Ben and his guys told me it needed a slave and master cylinder. Cost for the repair was 1/3 of the other guys.

Second visit was for an exhaust leak. They gave it a once over, changed the fluids, repaired the leak and also addressed the issue I was having with the turn signals all for under $200

Fair and Talented! I was extremely pleased with the service I received from Southern Wrench. I had a breakdown w/ my 2014 BMW while traveling in Charleston and couldn't get into either of the BMW specialty shops I contacted. However the owner of one of the specialty shops recommended Southern Wrench as the owner was a former, talented employee. Southern Wrench was able to fit me into a busy schedule and had me on the road the same day. Prices were reasonable, especially considering my circumstances.
