About Palmetto Lowcountry Behavioral Health
Palmetto Lowcountry Behavioral Health has been recognized for its positive impact on individuals' lives. The staff, including doctors, nurses, and techs, are known for their kindness and attentiveness. Specifically, AB and Asia from the day and nighttime staff are highlighted as exceptional. The facility has received praise for its trauma IOP program, led by Conner, LPCA, which many find transformative. The treatment team, including a psychiatrist, medical doctor, nutritionist, and therapist, collaborates closely with patients to create personalized treatment plans. However, there are areas identified for improvement, including suggestions for additional training for medical staff regarding Type 1 diabetes care. Some reviews mention concerns about cleanliness and the quality of food, with one individual stating it was the worst they had ever eaten. Despite these issues, the majority of experiences at Palmetto Lowcountry Behavioral Health have been positive, with many feeling supported throughout their journeys.
Our loved one had to go into this facility.. Everyone at the facility was loving and kind. Understanding of the situation and how hard it was for not only our loved one but ourselves as well. They worked diligently with our loved one and the next step facility upon leaving there. They went above and beyond to make sure that our loved one made a good choice to support his success. I highly recommend palmetto low country behavioral health.
