Every two weeks the hospital I work for treats a group of adolescents girls with hair appointments as part of basic life skills and necessities. Yesterday was June 19, and the hair school allowed us to set an appointment for these young ladies and we pull up on time and the doors were locked and the business was closed for the Juneteenth holiday.
