“My mother passed away unexpectedly, and our family chose Myrtle Beach Funeral Home because that is where her father’s funeral was held. It is what she would have wanted. It was also one of the most affordable.
I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about this facility or express how grateful our entire family is for the care and compassion they showed us during such a difficult time.
We were promised a 20–30 minute viewing with our mother, and I prepared myself for the possibility that she might not look like herself. I was astonished when I saw her. She looked just like herself—peaceful, as though she were simply laying there asleep. It was such a comfort to us. They also never rushed us. In fact, they graciously allowed us extra time with her, which meant more to our family than I can put into words.
I have two sisters who wanted to do different things with our mother’s ashes, and the staff worked with us without hesitation. They were understanding, accommodating, and compassionate throughout the entire process.
I especially want to recognize Blaire, who is truly an amazing person. My grandmother had just lost her only daughter, and Blaire brought her so much comfort during an incredibly heartbreaking time. Her kindness and compassion will never be forgotten by our family.
In the unfortunate event of any future losses in our family, we know exactly which funeral home we will use.”
