I walked in shaped like a question mark and walked out shaped like a reasonably confident exclamation point.
Johnny doesn’t just crack backs. He negotiates with them. He listens to your spine like it’s telling him gossip. “Ahhh yes,” he says calmly, “L4 has been holding onto some emotional baggage.” And before you can emotionally prepare yourself—POP. Suddenly your vertebrae sound like a bowl of Rice Krispies and your soul has been gently rearranged.
The first adjustment? Terrifying. The second? Suspiciously satisfying. By the third visit, I was basically slithering onto the table like, “Fix me, wizard.”
At one point he twisted me in a way that made a noise I’m pretty sure was not FDA-approved. I gasped. He nodded. “That’s the one.”
Sir. The one WHAT? My spine? My spirit? My childhood trauma?
And let’s talk about the post-adjustment feeling. You know that moment when you reboot your laptop and it suddenly runs faster? That’s me now. I think taller thoughts. I breathe in HD. I’m 83% more aerodynamic.
