Fast, on time and efficient! Skilled oral surgeons in this area are hard to find so make sure Waccamaw Oral Surgery and Dr. Covington are your top choice! Whoever gives a bad review clearly hates all dentists or they did not listen and follow directions. I have had two difficult ectractions with great outcome and nearly painless procedure. I am claustrophobic have a very narrow mouth opening and have severe TMJ. using the bike guard is for your protection when you have TMJ and it is uncomfortable but not painful. in fact the only painful part of her procedure is after the numbing agent has been applied the Deep needle with novocaine in it is quite painful as it goes into an area that is full of bone and the medicine itself actually burns a little bit, but within seconds you're not feeling that part anyway it has resolved itself. This is close to as painless as you are going to get in an oral surgeon's office and I dare anyone to challenge that!
