The gentleman who runs the store much of the time is very nice and works hard. The woman who is there from time to time is rude and pointed. I spent over $200 in cleaning there and asked why it was so high. She said “Prices went up”. I said it might be a good idea to post those prices and she replied “No dry cleaners post their prices”. They no longer do same day or one day and their hour continue to change. I said this to her and she contested the hours have been the same since the pandemic. I drew her attention to the piece of paper taped to the door with written marker giving the hours. She fought me on that.
Village Cleaners is very convenient and Chuck is friendly and runs it very well. The clothes are cleaned very well and do not have a chemical smell. I am a happy customer. I used to go to "On the Spot" Cleaners, but they raised their prices, stopped their coupons, and added a charge for credit card payment - so Village Cleaners is much better. And, Lyerly's cleaning process smells bad on the clothes.
