Update: I just wanted to thank nurse Caroline and Dr white for all their help and kindness! *6/23/2026

I’ve had great experiences here at After Hours up until this last visit. Unfortunately, the doctor on call tonight repeatedly scolded me about my son’s delayed vaccination schedule. I explained our situation and even asked her multiple times to stop, but she continued. The conversation felt harassing and unprofessional, and it made an already stressful situation much worse.
I expect respectful, supportive communication from medical providers, even when there are differences in opinion

We have had good experience with many doctors and medical staff in urgent care. Dr. Ajula is also wonderful: competent, attentive, respectful, prompt.
We had a negative experience upstairs though. The office is disorganized. The nutritionist that we saw made us wait for more than 45 minutes even though there was one other patient in the clinic when we checked in. Only one check out window was open. The closed window had multiple staff members chat very loudly and cheerfully. First visit at this clinic. We came for “after hours” pediatric urgent care. It was wonderful being able to come here in Mount Pleasant versus having to head downtown to MUSC Rutledge Tower or MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital.

We arrived on a late afternoon of Christmas Eve. It was fairly quiet and we were promptly seen. The nursing staff and doctor were very attentive and wonderful to work with. The front desk staff was also very pleasant.

The facility is lovely and very accessible. I wish they had a pediatric primary care at this facility, they unfortunately do not. They do provide a whole range of specialty pediatric care on the upper floor...read full review
