I have been struggling with painful corns for years but since moving to Mt Pleasant and finding Dr Saffer my feet are much happier. Dr Saffer and all who work with him are knowledgable, kind and upbeat people.
Dr. Saffer & his staff are all very friendly & professional. They greet you with a smile as soon as you walk in the office. Dr. Saffer is very knowledgeable & is quick to determine the best course to resolve your issue. I was very happy with the result of my appointment today. I came in with a sharp pain on the side of my foot. I was concerned that it would require surgery and a 6+-week recovery time. I walk 8-10,000 steps nearly every night and I didn’t want to stop walking. Dr Saffer examined the callus on the painful site and said he thought it was a plugged sweat gland. He shaved it down,removed the blockage and covered it with a bandaid; it took only 15 minutes. Result? No more pain. I walked 8,000 steps that night and 12,000 the following night. No pain. I couldn’t be happier.
