Family Dental Health of Mauldin is a friendly Mauldin, SC dentist. It’s all about family here. Dr. Herndon, Dr. Azzer, and the entire Mauldin staff help patients feel at home the second they walk in the door. Patients receive the absolute best dental care at every visit, with the goal of reaching optimal oral health while enjoying the process. All of the staff are incredibly kind and friendly, from the front desk to the hygienist to the doctors. They go out of their way to make patients feel comfortable and give great care. Patients appreciate that unless there is an actual dental problem or emergency, the dentist doesn’t feel the need to treat them beyond a cleaning. Dr. Azzer is very kind and can break down options. One patient had to fill front teeth without sedation, which was done without any pain or inconvenience. Another patient had a crown cracked and was fitted with a temporary crown the same day, with the permanent crown installed six days later. The staff made sure the patient was comfortable, kept them informed, and the outcome was excellent. Every visit is a great experience, with a smooth and super simple process. Everyone is very nice and professional.
I can't say enough great things about this dentist office. Let's be honest..most of us don't look forward to visiting the dentist. However all of the staff at this office are so incredibly kind and friendly! From the front desk to the hygienist to the doctors...they go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and also give you great care. This morning I had an unexpected dental issue. I called and they got me in right away with no hassle. I am so happy that I found this practice and I feel grateful every time I visit for their professional service and kindness.

One of the reasons I like Dr. Herndon is that unless I've got an actual dental problem or emergency...she doesn't feel the need to treat me. I get a cleaning and that's that.
I love these women. I was new to Mauldin and started having pain around an old crown. I called in over a weekend and was seen the following Monday.
The crown was cracked. Dr. Herndon fitted me with a temporary crown the same day. The permanent crown was installed six days later. I hate dentists but Dr. Herndon and staff are the exception. They made sure I was comfortable, kept me informed and the outcome was excellent.

Such a great experience! Everything was smooth and a super simple process. Dr. Azzer was very kind, he was able to break down options for me. He even gave me a few advise that I need to take. Overall the whole visit was 10/10
