Specialities: Went in for balayage. Definitely didn't get that! Basically got high and low lights. However paid the over price for something more. The owner came over and it was re done, but NOT what I wanted and showed pictures of. I had been there previously, had another stylist and it/she was great!! This time not worth my money nor the 5 hours I spent there! 1 star only due to owner tried to make it right, but I was not happy and can not do under 1 star. The cut was even bad I had to even it when I got home!! My friends and family even made comments, how bad It was.

Bridget has done my hair a few times and she gets it right every time she always captures exactly what i want and i leave happy everytime. Sarah did my boyfriend’s hair and did a phenomenal job! it’s exactly what he asked for and it suits his face very well. Milk and Honey as a whole is an amazing salon with very nice people and amazing service.
Stylist: Bridget and Sarah are amazing stylists and i highly recommend booking with them, they are very sweet, great at their job, and absolutely the best at making you feel at home.

Bridget did my hair and I am obsessed!! She listened to me carefully and asked clarifying questions. As she did the cut she would stop to ask if I liked it or wanted to change/add anything. I think that communication in the chair is so important! I am Sicilian so my hair texture can be a bit overwhelming. It is A LOT of thick hair. But she killed it! I asked for shorter/ a lot of layers. I like them to be “choppy” and give a messy look/not like my hair was just cut. I’m so happy and my hair feels so much lighter! Plus she was a joy! I’m normally more shy in the chair but she was so easy to talk/laugh with.

Not sure what is going on, but over the last several months the stylists are all different, the front desk is different, the prices have increased, but yet the feel of the place is not the same. Maybe the business has been sold or there is new management? Anyway, my service was just ok, nothing special. But I won't be going back.
EDIT: Okay, so now we telling stories. No price increase in over 2 years? Messy, messy, messy. tsk tsk tsk

Best salon in Lexington to go to and to work at! My coworker Jackie recently cut my hair and I absolutely love it. I don’t get my haircut often and she did a great job. I can be picky when it comes to my hair but she listened and did exactly what I asked for. The salon itself is super cute and has lots of boutique item for sale, perfect for before the holidays! Massage chairs, snacks and a variety of beverages are offered for the best client experience. Great team of girls that do a fantastic job! Come check us out!

Love my hair! I’ve been going to Laney for over a year and I’ve had her change my hair cut, color, and style every other appointment and I’m always impressed❤️ You can tell everyone in salon stays up to date with all the current styles and trends so that’s a sign of a good salon and if I have ever had to reschedule, they were always very accommodating. This is an excellent salon and I will go no where else.
