My daughter was going to another salon since august and they really messed up her locs. She had the huge bubble knots all through out her hair. I did some research and asking around and came across Martique's Unique Styles. We came in for a consultation yesterday and she was able to get those bubble knots out!!. I was so happy and couldn’t believe it! Today we had an appointment to get my daughter’s hair washed, retwisted and interlocked. My daughter said it was the best appointment she’s ever had. We still have a ways to go with her hair but we are finally on the right track and, so glad we found Martique’s Unique Styles.
I highly recommend this salon, especially if you are taking medication that causes hair loss or if you are transitioning from relaxed to natural. I have not lost any of my hair; it is as long and healthy as ever.
After living in NC for years and moving back home to SC I was searching for a loctician who did interlocking but also provided the same quality of service I received in NC. That was harder than I thought as there aren’t as many locticians in SC that do interlocking and the ones I did find just didn't provide that same quality. When I found Shavonne, she shampooed my locs and I started to smell all of the aromas that reminded me of the salon I went to back in NC. Honey, I knew then I had found my salon home. Shavonne is professional, courteous, and always ready for you at your appointment time. I am so grateful that I found her!
