Palmetto Primary Care Physicians - Iron Horse Office

To much of a turnover when it comes to doctors. Not really content with front desk who acts like you dont exsist when you walk in the door. Very unprofessional when the front desk manager is popping her gum while she checks in patient's. The least she could do is look up and say I'll be with you in a minute. Endocrinologist in the same building dont really help manage my diabetes well. I feel like I pay for visits there and I leave feeling like I paid for nothing, because they won't change my medication no matter how much I try explaining my meds aren't working.

The office staff is very nice things are clean and orderly. I give it only two stars because of Dr Nathan Avril ..he cancelled appointments on me more than once. He has never told me the drugs that I'm on are counteractive to one another or that they could even pose a danger by taking them together. A pharmacist had to point this out for me when I filled the prescription. It's not for a patient to know all these things it's for the doctor to warn the patient.

Dr. Averill went way above and beyond what I ever could have expected on my first visit with him. I have some complex issues and he enthusiastically wants to help me solve all of them. Bravo and thank you Doctor!
