Noticed a neighbor using their courtesy shuffle and shook my head. Also noticed Woodies got my review deleted that I made several years ago, so I’m reposting it. These guys are total frauds. Do not use them.
In the fall of 2023 I brought my 2011 Honda Civic to them for a litany of repairs but one of the big ones was the AC. They put in a new air compressor. I drove my vehicle & noticed an odd clunking, brought it back to woodies & they tried to tell me the clunking was old motor mounts & quoted me something absurd, over 2k at the time, for new ones. I told them I wanted a 2nd opinion, took the vehicle back, had a buddy look at it & he immediately noticed the ac compressor was missing a bolt & loose. Woodies either misdiagnosed the problem or realized they screwed up & decided to scam me of more money. I took it to another auto place, Certified Auto Repair, who confirmed this & fixed it for me.
When I confronted Woodie’s they obfuscated, lied, & said because I took it somewhere else they wouldn’t reimburse me for the repair Certified Auto did. I was furious because this was so clearly their fault & they knew it… I tell everyone in person never to use them and will continue too. They never made it right. If they try to get this review deleted I’ll just repost it again.

I strongly advise the community to avoid this facility. My experience raised serious concerns around ethics, professionalism, and how customers are treated. I observed behavior that was manipulative and intimidating, creating an environment that did not feel safe or respectful. The power dynamics were deeply troubling. Employees appeared uncomfortable and under pressure, which speaks volumes about management practices. We did not feel valued or protected. I cannot share further details at this time, but I feel a responsibility to warn others especially families to proceed with extreme caution. There are many reputable local businesses that operate with integrity, respect and will not take advantage of you. I encourage people to support those instead.

I had a great experience at Woodies Auto Shop thanks to Marcus. He was very pleasant, professional, and easy to talk to from the moment I arrived. I came in with a check engine light on, and he quickly helped me get my car situated and explained what was going on in a way that was clear and reassuring. He made the whole process feel smooth and stress-free. I really appreciated his helpful attitude and customer service, and I would definitely recommend asking for Marcus if you visit Woodies.

Pros: Friendly staff, punctual shuttle service Cons: Repeated visits for the same issue will not be resolved at this location, no matter how many thousands of dollars are spent.
I've taken my car to this location three times, February 2024, September 2025, and November 2025. I was definitely satisfied with the service I paid for on my February 2024 visit, which yielded a substantial and necessary overall tune-up.
Unfortunately, issues with my vehicle don't seem to have been addressed in my September or November visit. My vehicle seems to have some sort of weird issue with the clutch and gear shifts that are preventing the transmission from catching up on time. I brought up this issue in my September and November visits (though my November visit was largely instigated by a dead battery). This issue was not fixed, even after spending nearly $4,000 and having my car in their shop for an entire week, during which I had to use vacation time while I was stuck at home without transportation to my job.
While the guys that work here are very friendly and seem to sincerely want to resolve the issue, I don't think I'm going to get what I need at this location. I honestly feel scammed out of $4,000 and a week's worth of vacation time :(
