I had dealt with knee pain for a while. I saw an area doc who specializes in knees. highly recommended. my x ray showed some possible need for a knee replacement but nothing urgent. He never mentioned checking out the hip. The pain reached a point that I wanted to do something asap. Then I saw an ad for the Fraum Health Center. the x rays done there with Dr. Heather were not so bad, in fact, it was my hip that was an issue not my knee. what to do? my doc suggested an MRI to get a definitive answer. On January 17, 2025 I could not walk on my right knee without intense pain.
I made an emergency appointment with Dr Heather Hinshelwood.
Together we decided on a course of action to bring me back to functional health.
Stem cell therapy along with nutrition and physical therapy and a few laughs along the way.
I had a goal to ride a 30 mile bike ride on May 4 on Hilton Head Island, the Pedal Hilton Head.
I did it!! Pain free.
In another 6 weeks I'll be doing a 7 day bike ride in Croatia.
I could not do this without the team at Fraum Restorative Health.

Doing something i shouldn't do at my age (75), I fell and landed hard on rump, resulting in a fracture of a non-weight bearing bone in hip. The pain and the apprehension of greater pain and further damage to my hip caused my lower back to tighten up, resulting in reduced mobility and flexability, and threw my equalibrium off. After two sessions in the Emsella chair the painin my hip is gone, the tightness in my lower back is gone, and my flexability, mobility, and equalibrium have returned to normal.
