“My wife and I found the Lighthouse Tax and Consulting, LLC Certified Public Accountants and Consultants in December of 2024, by way of the Next-door App. We moved to SC in 2022 from NJ. For the first two years we continued to use our old accountant in NJ. However, we understood that we would need an accountant who was knowledgeable about SC taxes.
We were lucky to meet Mr. Paul Griz of Lighthouse. Right away during my first meeting, Mr. Griz was extremely helpful. He was attentive, responsive, and thoughtful. He took the time to answer my long list of questions and assured me that he was able to help us.
Mr. Griz and his staff made everything so easy. In particular Michelle, his receptionist, made us feel at home and was so friendly and courteous.
We first were made aware of the documents that were needed from us in order to get started. We were given all kinds of information and a schedule as to when our tax return would be completed. Mr. Griz made important observations and calculations that assisted us in getting a well-done tax return. Our tax return was completed in about a week’s time. When we went in to review and receive our return, Mr. Griz provided a detailed explanation of everything, and we were able to follow along line by line on a computer screen projected on the wall. He gave us comprehensive recommendations and suggestions that will assist us in the coming year.
