I am a senior who has mostly done her own hair for years, color wise that is. It was very dry and out of control. Frizzy, mid length senior hair. Sadie took care of me and turned my hair around! She does a trim beautifully, getting rid of all my dead ends. She found my best color that would not go reddish on me. My grays are hidden well, and that makes me very happy. We all try to look our best as we age. Vella's is a wonderful Salon and the owner is so kind. I cannot recommend Sadie more highly; I give her a 10 for patiently figuring out what I needed, asking me questions about my hair issues. She takes time with me and that is rare. For her kindness, patience and her expertise, Sadie is the cosmetologist for me! Having a bad day, like I was? Vella is the place to go. I love the welcoming environment as well as having Sadie take care of me!!! with her positive and fun personality.

Best Salon in the Upstate. All the ladies here are so kind! I get my hair done by the owner Annakate Mantooth and she has done my hair for years. She is always so patient with me even when I don't really know what. I feel like the prettiest woman after leaving being with her. She not only cares what your hair looks like but wants to make sure you do feel like the prettiest woman in the room and that is what sets this salon apart. Women supporting and uplifting other women!
