The Altar Spa

My husband and I were in Greenville for a long weekend and we booked a couples massage and individual facials at The Altar Spa! The atmosphere there is immediately relaxing, and the staff are amazing. Kim and April are talented massage therapists and our facials with Kass and Nicole were wonderful! Already looking for excuses to get back to Greenville!

The hubby and I had an amazing experience at The Altar Spa! We both got pedicures and were so impressed by the service. Candace was absolutely AWESOME—not only was she great at what she does, but she was also incredibly sweet.

The owner was so accommodating and immediately adjusted the AC for us when the room felt a little warm, and the front desk staff was equally welcoming and kind.

The only tiny suggestion for an even more 'zen' experience: the pedicure chairs are super comfy, but adding a small **headrest or neck pillow** would make it the ultimate relaxation spot!

If you’ve ever had a massage where you spend 75 minutes internally negotiating with yourself like, “Just get through the calves… you can do this,” then you know the struggle.
That was not my experience at Altar Spa yesterday. My 75-minute deep tissue massage might be one of the best I’ve ever had. The pressure was perfect — actually deep without crossing into the “why did I do this to myself?” zone. Even my calves (normally the ticklish, slightly torturous part of any massage) were somehow magical this time.
