If you're reading this and also see some of their low scores, I've got an explanation for you - it's a bunch of Karens who often mistreat the staff. I've personally witnessed (and called out) members abusing staff. Recognize that the clientele of a place like this will bring in upper middle class snobs who think their $20 membership gives them permission to be the worst part of society.

So if you aren't a jerk and are looking for a place to tan, then you should give this place a chance.“

This was a series of choppy events and oversights, but a learning experience for us all - and I had no real complaints about the staff personally.]

Went in for a single tan and a much needed boost in this freezing cold. I usually get a single tan or the buy one specials. The tall girl handling my visit tells me the different options but I didn't have much time before a class and just wanted a quick in/out. After processing my payment I'm told I'm only getting 5 minutes, at the PBT on Augusta has always been 7 minutes- that was my expectation. So I said cancel it and refund me, she didn't void it properly she reversed it which set up a store credit. A woman I'm assuming is the manager steps in, cannot fix it and says it'll take 14 days. Trying to be reasonable I offered to come back in an hour after my class because there wasn't enough time at that point to tan. When I return the girl at the front, who's new, didn't set something up correctly. I undress and the bed won't turn on, so I walk back out to the front and it takes several more minutes to remedy. I hit the start button and nothing happens but I can see the timer now running, I hit it a few more times, the bulbs light up but the machine isn't running as it should nor is it heating up (or so I thought.) I was given 6 minutes which I appreciated but the timer ran for 5. In a tanning bed every minute counts. I know my skin and what it can handle, I understand they have standards but I do not need anybody or any business determining what's best for my skin. I would have happily taken the standard 7 minute tan. The whole experience was utterly frustrating and a waste of $16. At the Augusta location this wouldn't have happened. Mattie always took great care of me as did the other girls. The girls here were perfectly nice however if the first girl had known how to handle this from the start none of this would have happened. I'd be a satisfied customer or $16 richer. Been in hospitality my whole life and this just isn't how things should be handled. The second this was a hassle somebody should've made it better.“

“I tried for over a week to purchase gas cylinders and was told they had them in stock. I wanted to order them and sent a couple more messages and still haven’t gotten a response.“
