Roper Mountain Animal Hospital is the best. I have been a client for several years now and they provide care for my 2 cats (Cricket & Pixie) and my 3 dogs (Birdy, June Bug, & Smokey). Through losing 2 of my senior dogs, ongoing seizures with my oldest dog, and recently a serious episode with one of my cats, I am so grateful for their kindness, compassion, and professionalism. I know that my furry family is always in the best of hands. We love Dr. Ross and the entire staff!

Best vet ever. We have used Roper Mountain Animal Hospital for years. One pet was 4 months old when we started taking him there. He recently passed at the age of 14. Dr. Ross and team are true partners in our pets' journeys. Through thick and thin they were right there with us providing the best health care. Showing professionalism, compassion and partnership. They took excellent care of our fur babies. We always trusted them from health care to boarding we could not have asked for better care. When it is time for another pet we will use them again without hesitation. They are the best vet in the Upstate. From the front desk to Dr. Ross herself, and everyone in between...you could not ask for a better team. Thanks to the entire team for all of the years of support!!

Roper Mountain Animal Hospital is an exceptional veterinary practice and we very highly recommend them. Our sweet cat Teddy Bear (Teddy) was a patient there for less than a year, but everyone in the Roper Mountain office made us feel so welcome that it seemed like we'd been bringing him for years. Both doctors, all the vet techs, and the wonderful ladies in the office staff are all always so caring, friendly, efficient and careful to do their very best for the pets. We found the clinic's charges to be quite reasonable and fair, as well. It's obvious to us that all of the members of this staff care deeply about the animals and their people- it's much more than just a business or a job to them. We'll be forever grateful to Dr. Ross for her kindness and help during the extremely difficult time after our Teddy Bear crossed over the rainbow bridge at an ER vet (during a holiday weekend, not related to any treatment at Roper Mountain Animal Hospital). She took up a lot of her own time helping us go over the records of everything that had transpired at the ER vet and it helped us reach some closure, which meant so much to us. As did the kindness and caring of the entire Roper Mountain Animal Hospital staff to Teddy Bear and to us.

Been my "go to" vet for our Rambo, GSD/Boxer/Chow(what a mix!) for 15 years and now our GSD named Bo. They love animals and our dogs have always loved them back! Top notch Doc's that are happy to see the dogs and cats grow and live long happy lives. Rates are very reasonable and all Staff is very friendly.

I’ve have brought two dogs here..
First one being my new puppy I got. Roper was so sweet in the first greeting giving her plenty of treats and a toy to take home to give her a great first experience at the vet. She has been there again for a wellness check and the pricing of the services was very reasonable. I like they don’t overcharge a crazy amount on medication and even allow you to use chewy to order.
I’ve also brought my senior dog here (after having a great experience with my puppy and getting frustrated at another vets prices). We did lots of tests to figure out what was going on and unfortunately my dog declined rapidly after doing an ultrasound and finding a mass on her spline and ultimately decided to put her to sleep. The vet techs were patient with me as I had numerous breakdowns in their office. The team was very sympathetic and I’m sure that’s the hardest part of the job, watching someone lose their pet. I do wish the room selection and payment (not doing this in front of everyone but allowing payment in the room) was a bit more private for this type of thing but I guess they work with what they got.
Overall I like that my puppy (now “dog”) has a reasonably priced vet she can go to that loves on her and gives great care
