Based on the reviews, Prisma Health Pediatrics–Travelers Rest provides outstanding care with a strong commitment to the community. The office has a rich tradition of outstanding physicians and a high retention rate of patients. The staff makes families feel loved from the moment they walk in. Dr. Merritt takes her time, thoroughly explains everything, and actually cares to solve problems instead of just trying to get patients in and out. Nurse Valentina is super kind and calmed a baby down instantly by singing. Dr. Natalie is so great, and Dr. Manley is an absolutely amazing doctor who is kind, compassionate, and thorough. The entire staff is great, with all the ladies at check-in and check-out being as sweet as ever. The office is always clean and neat, with divided sides for sick and well visits to reduce the spread of germs. The kindness displayed over the last 10 years has truly been a blessing, and the staff sets the standard of excellence. Patients happily drive a long distance knowing their baby is in good hands.
Dr. Manley and his nurse are great! They explain well and do thorough assessments on my child giving me extra info on questions I have. Dr. Maurer was great help as well when I was learning to breast feed and set me up with a lactation consult. We felt cared for. Would recommend to any friend.
I usually do not leave reviews but I have had such an amazing experience I feel obligated. We recently switched doctors offices for my 3 month old daughter. We see Dr. Merritt and we love both her and nurse Valentina! Dr. Merritt takes her time and thoroughly explains everything. She actually cares to solve the problems instead of just trying to get you in and out. My daughter was struggling with gaining weight and I had to start combo feeding with formula. Dr. Merritt was very reassuring that a fed baby is best and made me feel very comfortable with any decision that I chose and walked me through the steps of every option! I've been going here almost 5 years now. This practice and the one on South Pleasantburg has seen my sons. There isn't a better place to take your children for pediatrics. I've seen just about the whole staff and I liked every last one of them...It is always clean and neat, All the ladies at check-In and check-out are as sweet as ever. As long as they are open.. We will be patients there. The fact that they can still provide care up until 18 is the best part.
